Why Steam?
For some applications, traditional hot water boilers are not suitable. Steam is required. For this steam production, the user would need a Steam Boiler or Generator. Steam can be used to provide heating but also sterilization/cleaning (think hospitals).
The Difference between Steam boilers and Generators

The main difference between the two is that a Steam Boiler has a larger capacity, it will contain much more water than a generator. With the generator, a feedwater pump is used to continuously pump feedwater through a coil. The Steam Boiler will have a larger body of water (in the steam drum) that is being turned into steam, this makes the boiler more dangerous. Whilst safer, the generator can’t provide the same kg/ph output as a generator. So it is not as simple as making the ‘safer’ choice, it will depend on your application.
